Congratulations to our 2019 #SchoologyNEXT Award Winners!
Each year at Schoology NEXT, we recognize a select few that show us they have gone above and beyond in the area of advancing what’s possible in education in their classroom, school, or district. The winners are then announced during the Day 3 Keynote Presentation. This ceremony provides a unique opportunity to see the importance of the Schoology Community and how one individual can make a huge impact in their district or school, motivating others to do the same.
In case you missed it, follow us on to see all of the awesome snapshots from the event.
This year’s awards ceremony was hosted by Schoology's EVP of Marketing, Ivan Casanova. Ivan spoke about how valuable advocacy is and how our community has led the charge on so many incredible accomplishments. He then took some time on stage to speak with each of the winners about their various experiences in the edtech world and what their day to day lives are like in and out of the classroom.
The four award categories were:
- Educator of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- District of the Year
- Ambassador of the Year
We received an overwhelming amount of amazing submissions, all addressing the question of “How have you or your institution advanced what's possible with Schoology?" Winners were chosen based on various criteria including: being able to demonstrate meaningful, measurable results, and their knowledgeable and/or innovative use of Schoology. You were also able to nominate a fellow colleague for an award, which is actually how we found our Administrator of the Year. After thoroughly reviewing each submission, we carefully selected the winners, who were all more than deserving of these awards.
